I just finished reorganizing the studio. Enjoy! :) My studio is in an upstairs loft. It's at the top of the stairs. The “office area” is directly in front of this in another small loft area. I have no overhead lighting in here, so I strung patio lights across the ceiling and added paper lanterns. I love the whimsical look it gives the area. 1.View from the top of the stairs looking in.2. This is the view from the left side of my studio.3.Copics and Tombows are in the top of the mobile unit, the drawers are filled with ephemera for my mixed media work.4.Prismacolor pencils, derwent pencils, misc art supplies, art journals, etc. The ikea cart holds paint, brushes and inks.5.My ikea cart holding paints, pens, and brushes.6. Front view of my desk. I call this the “art side” I have pastels, pan pastels, paints, and inks accessible from this side. I taped my lamp cords to the bottom of the shelf.7. The shelves to the right are currently holding my purge. It's all boxed up and ready to move on out. 8. 4x2 Expedit. The top shelves hold cardstock/misc projects. The bottom bins hold fabric. I also have my air compressor and other misc storage. Above I have a sampling of some of my artwork, this is constantly changing as I sell pieces.9. 4x4 Ikea Expedit. The top area holds canvases.. The bins need to be finished still. They hold misc projects.10. Behind my desk. I have misc storage here.11. Behind my desk. I have neutral cardstocks and patterned papers in the shelves. I keep my sewing machine handy. The four albums on the shelf are works in progress.12. The “scrapbook” side of my desk. I have bins to hold my Thickers, drawers hold stickers, and other misc things.
