Thanks for another very inspiring piece, Shelby. I took inspiration from the lines of this piece as well as the colors (black, brown and grey). My daughter was trying for a scary Halloween look this year. When we saw this photo she thought that she was being “so Raven” meaning the Raven she watches on TV who tends to be very dramatic. I couldn't help but think of the poem “The Raven” by Poe. So I put lines of the poem on the background text, cut the title from velvet paper and added our story of the two Ravens in the concealed journaling at the top of the page. I altered the photo by applying the photo grain filter in Photoshop. Thanks for looking! Sue(edited to add that I goofed up on loading the inspiration piece so I apologize for the double copies being loaded - oops)
