I did this layout for my friend Tanya, with picutres I took of her dog, Peaches at the park this summer. The art piece reminded me of the wall in this photo so I used lots of ink and chalk to give the layout an aged look like the art piece. To make the small B&W charm, I altered a photo of Peaches in Photoshop, printed it on shrink plastic and shrunk it before mounting it on the cardstock. The booklet opens to show two more pictures of Peaches on the wall. The quote is a favorite of Tanya's: Peaches, who is the best and gentlest and most reasonable and well-mannered, as well as most beautiful small animal of his kind… I shall take it kindly if he be not too often gratified with tidbits at meals. Of course what he most intensely dreams of is being taken out on walks, and the more you are able to indulge him the more he will adore you and the more all the latent beauty of his nature will come out. ~Henry James~ Ribbon is by May Arts and Michael's.
