My art piece was very similar to one I had already done so I really had to think on this one to come up with something completely different. My layout colors are from the AI piece, the repeating domes of the AI piece are reflected in the gold paper at the top of the page and the mosaic pattern is replicated in the slide mounts as well as the lettering at the bottom. The word “detail” was done with letters from Li'l Davis Designs Alphabet Block paper. As well as drawing inspiration from the art piece, I borrowed heavily from Lisa Brown’s “Eiffel” layout in Scrapbooking With Style. The photos are from my daughter’s recent dance practice. The journaling reads: You are so focused at dance class. Your attention to detail is amazing. Your back is straight, your arms are fully extended, and your legs are angled just so. While you remind me that your toes are not yet pointed, with your attention to detail, I am confident they soon will be.
