I had to look at this one fr a number of days before I came up with an idea. I finally took the mosaic patttern of the painting along with the colors and came up with this. There is a black border all the way around and the squares are actually square(I hate scanning!) Shelby, thanks again for hosting!Journaling:When you were young, I used to spend hours watching you sleep. I would gently touch your hair, your face, your fingers, your toes … I would wonder at the miracle of you. Now that you are older and more independent, my opportunities to watch you sleep have been infrequent but remain one of the highlights I look forward to when we go camping. In July of 2003, I volunteered at Girl Scout Day Camp and got to be your group leader. The week ended with a Thursday overnight camping experience. You actually chose to share a tent with me rather than sleep with the other girls. We brought our cute little blue and yellow tent, which became a landmark of sorts in the field of army green Girl Scout tents; the other campers called it the igloo. We were up late singing songs and making S’mores around the campfire, so when the sun woke me in the morning, you were still sound asleep. The sun coming through the tent radiated from you and I couldn’t help but take a couple of pictures. After that, I sat back on my sleeping bag to watch you sleep. Once again, I was able to gently touch your hair, your face, your fingers and your toes and wonder at the miracle of you.
