Our family takes full advantage of the fabulous weather, all the wonderful events and delightful colors we have here in New England in the Autumn to create wonderful memories. The simplest of all of these events, though, is always a favorite with our kids - leaf jumping. We have so many trees around our home, we often have many occasions throughout the fall to have leaf pile jumping. As kids growing up in the Pacific Northwest, we never were able to partake in this tradition, because the leaves were always damp and soggy, so we definitely make sure the kids have ample opportunities to do this super fun activity. This makes me love all the new fall colored products even more - because I have LOTS of memories to scrap with them!I am really loving the slight splash of turquoise/blue to this season's fall products, it adds just that touch of cool to these really warm colors. For this project, I pulled together a “kit” with some of my favorite fall papers and decided to use the new Maya Rd hexagon chipboard pieces as the carriers to these fun papers. I glued them on with wet craft glue, trimmed them very tightly, sanded the edges then used a walnut colored ink around the edges to help them meld into the background paper. TFL! :)
