I am really loving this beautifully warm, pink/orange color that has come into trend lately. It has a such a wonderful spring feel and is ideal for scrapping all the lovely flowers that are coming into bloom this time of the year. For my layout I decided to simply scrap an image of some cherry blossoms alone as my photo even though I had images of both my kids by the trees as well. The blossoms were at peak bloom when we recently enjoyed a visit to the New York Botanical Gardens on Easter Sunday. It's a new tradition for our family and one that kicks off the Spring season with loads of glorious color and new growth. The blossoms were so beautiful, that I thought that they deserved a page dedicated to just them. Besides, when I put the images of the kids on the page, it became much too busy for what I was trying to achieve. The orange/pink color that I used from Basic Grey's Konnichiwa, Crate Paper's Pretty Party, Studio Calico's Take Note and My Mind's Eye's Miss Caroline meld so well together, and I love how organic everything feels together.
