Vacation at Tybee Island, GA. I printed the title then hand cut and layered it. The journaling reads... FORT PULASKI Echos of another time can be heard from the Parade Ground of this mighty fort which was completed in 1847. During Condederate occupation, there were 385 officers and men. Scars from the Civil War still mark the south and southeast walls. The fort was designed for 140 cannon, but Union troops installed only 60. Declared a National Monument in 1924, the fort gives daily tours and rifle demonstrations. Our tour guide is wearing an authentic uniform for a Union Field Sergeant of the day.
I think I got that last part wrong. I think it should have been Field Soldier not Sergeant. Oh well, who will ever know but me.
