Finally took the time to start this book this weekend…I've been collecting materials for this for months! This is a 9X12 book RAK'd by a good friend (THANKS!, Cindyrella) that has a corrugated kraft board cover, and 40 kraft color pages. The first photo is the cover…I gesso'd it first, then used various shades of acrylic paints. Pic is from art-e-zine site…printed it first on a transparency, then on the reverse side, sanded it in two directions to give a “linen” look without taking off the ink off the pic, then matted with ink side down to speckled tan cardstock and detailed the edges. Used some upholstery fabric scraps (inked and unraveled), a walnut ink-stained crocheted doily, and walnut inked tulle. The copper hand is first stamped with Stazon, then cut out and dry embossed for detail.

The second pic is pages 1 and 2 of the book…collaged papers, sanded them, inked around the outside edges. The heart on the right side is cut through 4 pages, the poly clay heart and green fiber is matted to page 5, then the 5th page was glued to the rest. Title words are made with various alpha stickers…other words are hand stamped and embossed, with the exception of “hope” and “wisdom”…those are Shotz “ABC Skid” alpha stickers. Art-deco face is an old pin (can you believe I used to wear this…LOL). TFL! Kathy
