This is a scraplift of a green fishing/vacation tag book done by Tracy Niehaus in “The Art of Collage” (Pinecone Press…Marah Johnson is in this book, too!). My mom's 75th birthday is this weekend, and since I couldn't get my hands on enough photos to make even a mini album, I used the few small pics I did have to make her card as a tag book.

I used a 12X12 sheet of cardstock to make my book, so my finished pages are 3X6 (the chipboard covers are 1/4“ larger on all four sides).

The first scan is the closed view, the second (sorry for the crooked scan on this one…it was a ”stinker“ to scan straight!) shows the open pages, and the third shows three of the tags and a close-up of the opened ”tiny book“ on the second page.

Used so much stuff here…Rusty Pickle, 7 Gypsies, Slab III, and DMD papers. Lil Davis keyhole on the first tag, Paper Bliss key on the third tag, Sonnets poemstones here and there, Shotz ”Wordz“, and other miscellaneous stuff! LOL!

I put photos of my mom and I on the first and last pages/tags…the tiny photo in the slide mount on the last page on the right is my Mom and I on my first Christmas, and the photo of the two of us on the first tag was taken just this past Christmas. The second tag has a photo of my Mom on her first easter in 1930, and the third tag has a photo of her high school graduation. (There is a 4th tag on the last page, and it's pretty, too, but it has a private birthday message to my Mom, so I didn't scan that tag). Also on the third scan is the open view of the small red ”booklet" on the second page…it's a 4-generation photo taken when I was 1 (I'm the one in the white bonnet..LOL!), and it's one of my favorite photos, since my Grandmother and Greatgrandmother both passed when I was in my teens.

Thanks for looking!!!
