Took some time out from holiday craziness this morning to photograph this doll I made - the base started out as a Coffeemate (powder) coffee creamer container (she's about 7“ high). (Sorry for the photo quality - flash made her metallic-painted face too bright and didn't have time to set up proper photos lights!)

I used Ranger alcohol inks to color the sides of the originally-red top, and along the bottom under her skirt (the container is white plastic after you remove the label). The fun part is that the top still screws off, so I can put idea slips inside the container for when I lose my mojo! The skirt is formed from strips of Chatterbox papers, glued to the base of the container (4 tiers of strips). More CBX papers were used to form her ”bodice“ and ribbon tied around her waist. Arms are beads glued to her shoulders with E6000.

Her face is polymer clay formed with a push-mold, and painted with gold Lumiere paint. I glued the face to the wooden top ”plug“ from a decorative candle jar (yep - I'm a saver of all things even remotely usable! LOL!). ”Hair" is ribbon and fiber.

Photo 1: Front view
Photo 2: Back view
Photo 3: Side view
Photo 4: Skirt detail.
TFL, and Merry Christmas, all!! Kathy
