This was the first time I used paint on chip board letters. I ended up sponge painting on the paper and pictures just to tie in. I also sponge painted underneath the letters so they would stand out more. I really had a time with the metal hearts turned into card symbols. First go around I asked my dd if she noticed the middle, the embellishments and she said she did, she noticed the paper clips, she had some!!@@??? So I outlined them with pen and painted a little on their insides and asked again. Finally they seemed to emerge like card symbols. I hope they look like that to you!
