This week I had Tia's “SANTA BAG PRINTABLE TAGS” to work with. I was a little stumped at first, how was I going to use these other than as our gift tags (which I will be doing too)- in the end I have found tons of fun in them. For this page I changed the the face of the tag white, duplicated just that part and then used it as a mask to cover the whole face with a patterned paper that matched the layout I was making. And then I was looking at it and thought what cool looking brackets I could make by using just the frame of the tag - the magic wand tool worked fab for that. I am super happy with how these worked out - I can see using the frame for brackets, as a frame, to make a bracket border, I'm thinking about making journaling tags with the first technique I described, a border of tags, and I'm even thinking of selectinf the Santa image out and using him in a piece of flair. So many pages — and gift tags, love this.
