<p>So for this layout, my typography &quot;tricks&quot; include overlapping text boxes to create the title which I printed and cut from white cardstock. Also, I created a brush from the numbers 1-10 and stamped it in white on the photo in various opacities.</p><p>Journaling reads:</p><p>Early this school year, your teacher read a book about being a &ldquo;bucket filler.&rdquo; In your words, bucket fillers &ldquo;are being nice to other people and not being mean; not being a bully.&rdquo; Basically, bucket fillers make people feel good by being encouraging, supportive and helpful. Your homework was to bring home a paper with a bucket on it. For every time that you acted as a bucket filler, you got to add a sticker to your bucket sheet. I&rsquo;ve always known what a great brother, son and friend you are but recognizing you for those small deeds really reinforced it for me. It was a great assignment for you *and* me!<br /><br />1. Helped Zack riding his bike.<br /><br />2. Encouraging zack when he was getting frustrated with a video game you two were playing together.<br /><br />3. Helped me pick up fallen apples from our tree without complaining (something you should do anyway but usually don&rsquo;t…I appreciate it when you help me out without fighting it!)<br /><br />4. Let Zack choose a secret passage way on the way home from school even though it was your turn. You knew it would prevent a tantrum.<br /><br />5. Made me breakfast :) You and Zack had breakfast out and on the table when I woke up this morning (9/22)<br /><br />6. Brought home a note for me telling me that you missed me while you were at school and hoped I had a good day :)<br /><br />7. Pushed Izzy home from the park for me when I had to carry Zack.<br /><br />8. Cleared the table for me without being asked.<br /><br />9. In an email exchange with your teacher, she told me &ldquo;what a joy Jacob is to have in class.&rdquo; Proud momma!<br /><br />10. Endless hugs and kisses and &ldquo;i love yous.&rdquo;<br />&nbsp;</p>
