I've been putting this one off forever but I'm finally done with Jake's birthday pics! Pretty basic - Bazzill and a little Chatterbox. Fonts are Claritty and Century Gothic (a staple on pretty much every layout :p). Love these pics and glad to have this one done!<br><br>Journaling reads: <p>The long awaited first birthday cake…every parent awaits the moment with excitement…anticipation…dread. We decided to take the easy way out and have cupcakes for your first birthday…and they HAD to be chocolate - aren't ALL first birthday cakes chocolate? Just not quite as satisfying if there isn't a big chocolate mess smeared all over the birthday boy's face when all is said and done. <p>As your party began to wane, we sat you in your highchair with your very own cupcake. We all waited with bated breath - would you like your first taste of chocolate? For a few mnutes, you just poked at it, not quite sure what to make of the mushy mound in front of you. With a little prodding though, you tasted, and you loved it! You ate almost the whole cupcake and left your highchair and shirt a chocolatey mess…just what we'd been hoping for! The rest of the party you ran around in your shorts and sandals…sans shirt. A successful introduction to the delightful treat known as chocolate. <p>Happy Birthday dear son!<p>TFL!<p>.
