Well, here is my CJ for our Art Inspiration group. All of the ladies in this group have done some simply amazing work…I am so honored to be among such talent! My theme is Hometown Stories. Pictures show:
1. Cover
2. Inside Cover
3. Introduction Page
4. Sign In Page (little book on the right has all of the art inspiration pieces that are talked about in the intro)
5 My layout.

Journaling on intro page reads:
Welcome to my circle journal girls! Thank you all so much for being a part of this group. I can’t wait to see what you all come up with and hopefully, you will enjoy the process and learn a little more about yourselves.

Lately, I’ve been feeling rather homesick. After growing up in the same house for 18 years, I moved, and I moved, and I moved some more. I’ve lost track of how many different places I’ve lived at this point. While I love the little house that I share with Carlos and Jake, I’m still getting acclimated to living in Fresno. I don’t think I’ll ever know this town as well as I know my hometown. Basically, I’m feeling nostalgic for the times when I knew my town like the back of my hand - for all the good and all the bad, I miss it’s familiarness.

So, here’s your part. Tell me about your hometown. The town you grew up in, the town you’ve made your home now, or any town in between that you’ve really loved. I want to read funny, sad or touching stories that make me feel like I’m a part of your town as well.

However, there is a twist! In honor of the Art Inspiration group that brought us all together, I’ve selected an art piece for each of you. You’ll find the pieces on the next pages…As with any of our challenges, use the piece in any way you choose. Let your creativity reign…do whatever you want with your pages. If the book gets too bulky, just untie the twine and loosen it up a bit!

Finally, I love to put a face with a name. I consider all of you my friends and I like to know what my friends look like! So, make sure to include a picture of yourself on the front of your set of pages. You’ll become a part of my gallery - my personal gallery of scrapbook artists.

Thank you again…I can’t wait to see the end result.
