I'm not sure if I like this one or not…might have to tinker a little bit!<p>Journaling reads:<br>It’s no secret that Carlos is a hockey fanatic. To some (OK, most) it’s a little weird since he’s a native Californian and *gasp* he’s also Mexican…what’s he doing playing hockey? Although he didn’t start until he was in his early 20’s, Carlos has developed such a love for the sport. He got interested in the game after watching it on TV and it became a mutual love between him and his best friend Cullen. Many laegues and seasons later, he still can’t get enough. While we share a love of hockey (trust me on this one…me loving hockey and being from Michigan was a big plus when we first got together) we disagree on our preferred team. I, of course, am a Wingnut! And Carlos, for some strange reason, loves the Flyers. Oh well, we agree to root for each other’s team as long as they aren’t playing each other. I love that we share this passion and look forward to the day that Jake can share it with us as well. The look on his face the last time we went to watch Carlos practice tells me it won’t be long. He was enthralled. Carlos tells me they have skates that will fit Jake…once he learns how to walk, we can teach him to skate!
