My cute sone, playing under the table. Sorry the right side got cut off in the scan and the colors look really blah - much more vibrant IRL…<i>handwritten</i> journaling under bottom picture reads:<p>A table, a fort, only an adult would make the distinction. Only an adult would care that a child know the difference. That's one of the many things I love about being your mom. You allow me to be a child again right along with you. When we play together, a laundry basket is a boat and a table becomes a fort. Only later do they assume their utilitarian, mundane roles: that of a foot rest, drink holder or just plain old junk magnet…someday soon, you'll know that <i>technically</i> it's a table. I hope it's a very long time before you forget how to pretend it's a fort though.<p>.
