Finally got the layout done for this… thanks to all the peas who helped with ideas!! I wanted to mimic the building, to draw attention to it (as it's really what shows we were at the movies *LOL*) So I stuck with geometric shapes, color blocked in colors that matched the building.. and separated them with really pale dove grey lines (just like the windows of the theater). I couldn't gind a font that really matched the sign for the title, but I found one that was close.. and then fixed it up myself so that it matched almost exactly (couldn't get the S's to look right, ah well.) I made the letters white, matted in red, and raised them so they looked more like the theater sign. Paper pieced popcorn is my own design, crunkled the paper for the bag and chalked the kernels of popcorn. I “pop dotted” the title and the extra kernels of popcorn.. but since I don't have any money to buy pop dots, I just glued scraps of cardstock together until they were about four layers thick. *hehe* Thanks for looking!!
