Just Bazzill, Eras Light font and Autumn Leaves rubons for the date…Journaling reads:
So perhaps you were a bit slower to embrace your right of verbal expression than other kids. I attribute it to your almost superhuman physical abilities…you are strong, you are coordinated, you are FEARLESS and that scares me! So much effort spent finely tuning your physical being detracts from time that might be spent honing other talents. Now though, at the ripe old age of 2 years and 1 month, you are beginning to exercise your voice more and more each day. Finally you are asking for things with words rather than the prototypical whine. OK, so I'll readily admit that your usual requests are fruit snacks, apples (also known to adults as plums or peaches but hey, it's round and it's fruit so we won't get into semantics too much just yet) Elmo or the Wiggles…food and entertainment - who can argue with that? The point is, you're talking. Finally. And that makes me happy! Each day you are conversing with us a little more - sometimes it's babbling, sometimes it's screeching (much to your baby brother's chagrin) a lot of the time you don't care if anyone is listening. Occasionally a letter or number sneaks it's way into your vocabulary and colors are a cool new thing as well. Soon, I fully expect sentences to begin trickling out. Yay for you big boy! We are very, very proud.

TFL!
.
