I was privileged to attend many of the Olympic activities when the 2002 Winter Games were held in SLC, my hometown. Many of my friends had broadcast internships that allowed us to go behind the scenes and meet many of the olympians. What an awesome experience!
I witnessed Sarah Hughes' upset win over Irina Slutskeya and Michelle Kwan in Women's Figure Skating. I will never forget that moment. Olympic Fever is so easy to catch and hard to recover from. I am still a big Olympic fan.
