Talk about outside of my comfort zone - I started out thinking I could apply the Twinkling H20 colors via a brass stencil. I taped it down and was having a great time coloring in the empty spots on the stencil. Oh dear, then I lifted the stencil and was a mess. I should have waited for the ink to dry more, maybe. so I took my brush and swirled, stroked and added more ink and I loved the back ground. Next came the foil colored butterflies from three different punches. Then I read the instructions again and alas, I had forgotten that I needed to stamp on the piece as well. My stamped sentimenet “wing” is stamped in the lower left hand corner and then was embossed with pealized gold embossing powder, I don't think it shows up very well in the picture, even though I played with contract and lightness and darkness on my photo editing program. But it is there and in real life it is very sutle. I will understand if you cannot see it and if it doesn't quality for the challenge. I may do some more work with the twinkling H20's , I love the background effect and might try inking directly to a stamp. Also want to try other water coloring products that are in my stash. I did like the challenge, thanks for offering it.
