I originally created this letter L in 2006, after seeing similar colored pencil art here in the gallery and being inspired to make one for myself. A few weeks ago the morning show on our local TV station was sponsoring a $5.00 or less craft contest (you could use one item you already had on hand, everything else had to come to less than $5.00) so I remembered this project and entered it. I ended up being one of the top 5 finalists, I got to appear on the show last week to demonstrate my project, and then today I was notified I had won the contest! :o) Putting it back into my gallery, along with a few other samples that I created for the show. :o)
