This was one of my entries this year for MMM that didn't meet the cut! Journaling says…" This is the nativity scene that dad sets up each year for the Christmas season. For as long as I can recall, it has been a traditional symbol of our families' holiday decor. All I need is to take one glance of this scene and I am reminded instantly of what the nativity epitomizes. It's the real reason for the season, our JOY to the world…all wrapped up in a little baby who became KING! I felt that the Provo Craft thatched paper was the perfect choice to enhance the stable's roof thatching in the photos. The brass radial nailheads in the corners of two of the pictures were brushed with paint and rubbed a bit before drying to give a more rustic appeal. I used a This-N-That frame and title, Sonnets letter stickers and a Marcella by Kay frame. Gold mesh ribbon is Offray,Patterned papers are Paper Adventures, SEI and Provo. Also incorporated a Soft Spoken sticker (Wise Men Still Seek Him) and staples. Think that's about it! Thanks!Andrea Amu
