A fun page on our trip to UBUD… journalling is as follows: While in Indonesia, Mum and I went on an overnight stay in Ubud. It was really beautiful with loads of palm trees and paddy fields. The funniest memory I have is when we were staying in this little thatched roof room, I woke up in the morning and Mum said don't freak out but look up there. She was pointing to the rafters in the ceiling, I tried to focus my eyes and all I could see was this lone paw. It looked like a paw with no fur. I moved out of the bed pretty quickly after that, Mum was laying there awake watching it and had wanted to take a photo but was afraid if the flash went off whatever was attached to that paw might fall on me. Then we would have had a big problem. Gibson told us afterwards that it was a huge geeko and because of it's size and age it moves so slowly it would have taken a year to actually get to us. But hey, we didn't know that!
