On yesterday’s emotional anniversary of D Day, I looked through the photographs I had taken on a visit to the Normandy Beaches a couple of years ago. I have scrapped this photo before . . . and revisited it today.Journaling: Ed is walking along Omaha beach in this morning. This is something that he has wanted to do for a long, long while. The beach is located on the coast of Normandy, France, facing the English Channel. Landings here were necessary in order to link up the British landings to the east at Gold beach with the American landing to the west at Utah beach, thus providing a continuous lodgment on the Normandy coast of the Bay of the Seine.Credits from Designer Digitals:Bound Paper Pack No. 03 Watery Washes Brushes and Stamps
