During Christmas this past December, I baked dozens of fragrant ginger cookies with my Aunt and we hung them by strings in the kitchen window and on a large wreath in the window’s center. Beginning after lunch on the 25th the grandchildren could pick one to eat after each meal. Our little granddaughter really got a thrill from the whole thing this year and would make her choice long before the meal was over … think this is a new tradition at our house now!The journaling reads:Oh my, which ginger cookie can I eat tonight? I really like the teddy bear and the kitty cat and the fat pig the best. Every night after supper, Monnie would let me pull one of the cookies off of the red string it is hanging from in the big window by the kitchen table. That is fun to do, but not as much fun as eating it! I love Monnie’s cookies! Fonts used are: Atilla (journaling), Freebooter Script (Christmas) & Monograms Toolbox (Cookies)Software is PSE4. This layout was done for an Ad Challenge on the ScrapArtist site.
