This layout is one for my heritage album … I don't remember this particular day, but I vividly remember the excitement of my cousins visits each summer. The journaling reads: “We are playing in the sandbox that Daddy & Robert built which stood between our house and the Bilbrey house next door to us on Maple Street. Ricky will be 2 in August and I am having my 3rd birthday in just a few days. It is June of 1948 … hot & sticky in the South, but we don’t feel it like we will when we grow up! We only know that the two of us are having a wonderful time playing together every day for a whole week. Aunt Betty Rose has come home for a summertime visit and we are loving it! Don’t you just love Ricky’s straw hat and that little pouty face? Guess that he didn’t want the play interrupted for this photograph!” This is posted as a Quote Challenge from Katie Pertiet which was begun in Jan. 06 for Designer Digitals. The papers used are from Vintage Rag Tag by Michelle Coleman for Scrapartist.com and the fonts used are 1942 Report (title), Atilla (journaling) and Susie's Hand (quote & photo name). It is made in PSE4.
