Journaling says:The littley guy in the three upper photos is Lewis, Earl's brother. He was born in April, 1938, so you can estimate when these phtos were taken. The first photo shoes the side of the old farmhouse. The photo with the wheelbarrow shows the old chicken coup, which was later taken down. The photo with the wagon was taken in front of what we believe is the new barn. It was rebuilt after a fire destroyed fir tirst barn. The bottom photo shows the third generation of staleys that enjoyed the old homestead. That photo was taken on July 45h, 1957. From left to right you see Chris (grandpa) Hazel (Grandma) behind Earl's head, Uncle Jake, Jakie, Aunt Marie, and in front, its Earl, Tom and Jim and the front of the old farmhouse.Earl's mom and dad lived her on the farm with the rest of the large family when they were first married. Lewis was born in 1938 and Chris didn't contract for their home until 1940. The other lower photo shows Uncle Lorne (hazel's brother) and Chris Staley in front of the farmhouse. Lorne and Chri were great friends.
