Journaling says: We aren't party animals! Weusually celebrate very quietly athome. This year was no exception!Earl got busy in the kitchen andmade us some “celebration” things-like cookies, and lemon bars, and heeven made the dog some home-madebiscuits! I added a veggie tray andsome candied pecans. That was theextent of our “celebration.” This yearwe stayed up until around 10 pm! Some years we stay up till midnight,but this year we didn’t make it!But we felt pretty good the nextmorning–no hangover, no tirednessbecause of lack of sleep, and nostomach ache from stuffing it withlots of stuff we shouldn’t eat! Calmand sensible. That’s us!
