Give a Cheer
I found a great Picket Fence Paper sheet at my LSS for 59 cents that had all of the months of the year and word cut outs to celebrate each month. That was the only thing new I purchased. I used my stash for everything else. I made the cover out of chipboard, cardstock, PP and ribbon and inked it to age it. I printed up the dates on the computer (just the dates–no year) and pasted the headers. All of the inside pages are made with scraps and odd and end brads, stickers or other embellisments. I plan to add all my family and friends birthdates and keep it near my card box for a reference book. Because I didn't make it by the year I will be able to use it for a long time.
