Why I NEED a Clip It Up!!!!

I promise this isn't a staged photo, this really is my desk today. I have tried to get it organized in the past it just always ends up looking like this. I admit it I probably have too much stuff but there is just so much out there that I HAVE to have! It makes it really hard to scrap though because I can't find what I want. I have some organization items such as the cropper hopper containers on the wire shelf and the baskets. I even tried to do a home made Clip It Up system by using a cup hanger with real Clip It Up hangers under the shelf in the desk. It doesn't work. The clips work and hold well but the hanger doesn't move so you can really only see the stuff right in the front. Not real productive. Opening the packages and adding them to containers means I have no idea who makes what so submitting for possible publication is not a reality. And to be honest, I really would rather just be able to invite friends over to my house without being embarrassed about the mess than be published–yes, it's that big of a mess. I only showed you a small section of the desk. The rest is just too bad to show! PLEASE help me get organized. Let me win the system.
