This is the card I made for my Dear Aunt for Mother's Day. She's been my “Other Mother” my entire life. Since my own Mom passed away several years ago, I am so blessed to have her in my life. I used the 5/12-13 page as inspiration. I didn't have a large punch to make the scallop on the edges of the burgundy cardstock so I dug out the scissors, which is also on another of the calendar pages (30th) which suggests getting out the older supplies. The scan isn't very good. The flowered paper was a piece from my stash and it is gorgeous IRL, really looks like a piece of fabric. I added a little bling with Stickles glitter and added ribbon from the roll. I used a preprinted Quick Quote for the inside and it says: “My Aunt, You have always been there for me and you taught me how to find my own joy. You are a special gift from God and I will always remember the special moments we shared. You are my inspiration and the wind beneath my wings.”
