Love the journaling strips and the 'then and now' embellie. The thing I like most is one thing you do now that you didn't do then. Take a guess? {wink}

*NO paper plates - ever! *NO napkins - too expensive, not necessary *Meat, potato, vegetable, bread - EVERY meal *Never ate out *Serve yourself from the stove *98% of the time all 5 of us at the table *Dad filled his plate first and took as much as he wanted *Coca Cola for Dad - always *No soda for kids - milk, water or Kool-Aid *Most meat and potatoes fried *Too much pork steak - yuck! *Never enough to eat *Same 7 or 8 meals, just rotated *No praying before meals
1990's - present...
*paper plates MOST of the time *Napkins - always *Rarely have potatoes *Eat out more than we should *Usually serve most things from the stove *25% of the time all 5 of us at the table - Keith works 2nd shift *Keith fills his plate last (by choice) *I fill plates and serve the kids *Pepsi for Keith - always *No soda for kids on school nights - milk a must 3 times a day *Rarely fry anything *Often have fish, seafood and chicken *Always fix a lot, never much left *Rarely serve the same meal twice in a month *Pray before every meal
