Another catch up LO done for my older dd. First day of school after we got back home. Not my favorite LO but it's done & in her album. Journaling reads: After the dramatic morning I made sure to be on time to pick Marissa up from school. Walking into the classroom, I noticed it was playtime. I wanted a chance to talk to Ms. Danielle about the first day when Marissa must have spotted me. She came running towards me at top speed crying “MY MOMMY!!”. I hugged her tight & told her I loved her. Ms. Danielle told me she was good & calmed down after I left. She sat in her lap during afternoon circle & while outside just stood nearby her not playing that much. She said it would take a little while but it'll be easier each day. I thought it would be nice after the rough start this morning to pick up a small ice cream cake. We could have a little celebration to make her feel special. Marissa loved the cake & was very happy with the surprise. She made it through her 1st day of school!*Sept. 7, 2004Journaling: 6-9-06TFL!!
