HUGE thank you to Caroline Ikeji for brainstorming with me to get me down the road to this fun project!
Adam (my five year old) and I had fun putting this together. It was perfect because they were learning about mobiles in school this week so we worked on the balance together.
I cut out the paper pieces and Adam helped me glue them on. He enjoyed using the Cropodile to punch and set the eyelets. Then we painted a paper plate with light blue paint and hung the gliders with fishing line and earring findings on the plate. Last step was ripping up a bunch of batting to make the cloud.
At that point, Adam had had enough! So he wasn't all that cooperative at picture taking time!
The gliders detach from the mobile so you can play with them! Used earring hooks to make that happen.
Patterned paper: American Crafts
Paint: Making Memories
Gliders from the toy store
Fishing line
Paper plate
Batting
Earring findings
TFL!
