I got inspired by this dotted paper–both of them, really. I thought the small dot looked a little comic-bookish.(6/28/06 ETA: Well, it turns out it's no accident this paper reminded me of a comic book. I have since discovered it comes from an SEI line called Kaboom, which also has some word bubble paper and one that says “Kaboom! Pow! Zowie!” etc.)The small dot is SEI, the big dot is Just Cuz, and the background is the reverse of Kaleidescope.<p>Journaling reads: One day when I went out to paint faces at a carnival, Baxter begged me to paint his face. When I got home, I made him Spiderman. Then Madeline wanted to be a superhero, of course, so, voila, Dynagirl!
