Son can you Play me a Melody?

Hi, This page was so much fun to do. I love when I have a layout in my head and it turns out just like I pictured on paper. It doesn't happen often but it did this time. PP is by We R Memory Keepers, Lots of chipboard(heidi swapp, MM, lil davis) Rub-ons MM, MM stamps, tag by Lil davis. Lots of embellies are from the March Jenni Bowlin kit! Journaling reads: February 2006– You came home with this guitar. I was not thrilled tosay the least at first. I was being the practical mom that wanted you tosave your money for a car, insurance and books for school. It was only $35….not a lot. I was also surprised. I had always known you have ahuge interest in music but I never knew you wanted to play the guitar. Youhad always played the drums.You started to practice. You have been printing tab sheets daily fromthe internet. You practice a lot. It makes me happy to hear you play.Last week I was brushing my teeth and you were fiddling around with theguitar downstairs. I thought I recognized the song. Then after a few notes Iknew I did!. you were playing Ozzy's Crazy Train. Being an avid Ozzy fan Ijust smiled. It was so cool to hear the few chords you had learned come outof your hands. I love to listen to you play. You complain that you*suck*. I don't think you do. So what if you can't play and entire song from beginning to end, you have only had it for a month. I know you willlearn an entire song and ROCK at playing it. Keep on trying. Don't give up!It's so nice to see you enjoy something again. It's been a while sinceyou really played a sport and this, I think, is just what you needed. Ijust want you to know that I am so proud of you for doing this. Being a self-taught musician is tough business. You'll get whole songs downsoon. I know you will!!! I will be waiting with open ears!thanks for looking! :)
