7/23/06 – Our traditional Sunday night dinner at Briana’s parent’s house. Joey has really grown to love going to Nana and Papa’s. For some reason he just will not call Briana’s mom Grandma – but has resorted to calling her Nana, which is nice because we are fortunate to have a lot of other grandma’s.
This day Jenny and Wyatt (Jenny is one of Briana’s best friends since the 6th grade) came to visit. The boys loved watching Joe catching frogs. Joe is an expert frog catcher! The top left photo shows the boys looking at the frog jumping in the grass and often ended up with the boys ‘jumping’ after the frog. My mother has two ponds and the frogs live in the smaller pond. I think Joey wanted to save the frog from any more misery, picked it up and ran like heck (faster than the rest of us) to the big pond and chucked it in. It was quite humorous!
After the boys played with the frogs they were excited to feed the fish in the big pond. They loved chucking the food into the pond and watching the fish gobble it up. Shortly after Joe got down on the ground and let Joey and Wyatt rough-house with him as they climbed all over him and had a blast doing so. What a fun day!
