Name: Celeste Burden. Nickname: Cel.
How long we’ve been friends: 12 years.
How we met: Youth Group at Living Word Church. It’s funny because we didn’t like each other at first. That seems so crazy now. I can’t imagine my life without her as my friend. We finally decided we’d be better off as allies rather than enemies! Man, were we right!
Favorite thing to do together: LAUGH!!! We can ALWAYS make each other laugh! She is by FAR the funniest person I know! We could be locked in an empty room for a week and have a blast! We just “get” each other.
Favorite memory: 1) Our internet communication. Hilarious! 2) The infamous “incident” on a bus in Mexico. I can’t think about it and not crack up. You just can’t get much funnier than that! I’ve told people the story, but they don’t seem to think it’s as funny as we do.
Man, I don’t think I’ve ever laughed so hard in my life. Seriously.
How I feel when I’m with her: Secure. I know that she has my best interests at heart. I know that Celeste loves me for me.
She knows the good and the bad sides of me and she loves me despite my weaknesses. I love that about her. I know that she always supports me and will always stand beside me. She is my sister in Christ and I trust her completely. No matter how much time goes by- we always pick up right where we left off. She cracks me up!
