Name: Christy (Newell) Benton Nickname: Crusty
How long we’ve been friends: 12 years.
How we met: At the end of 8th grade at Mountain Home Junior High.
Favorite thing to do together: Scrapbook.
Favorite memory: 1) The many sleepovers we had back in High School. We would stay up all night laughing and talking! 2) All the times we would squeeze into Ginny’s S10. We’d drive around and listen to music. We thought we were the coolest! 3) After re-connecting after college, we have had many dinners together where we’ve laughed and talked non-stop! We always have a good time. 4) I also love our scrapbooking times.
I’m glad that I have such a close friend who shares the same passion.
How I feel when I’m with her: She has such an easy way about her. I feel comfortable and I feel I can be however I’m going to be and she will be accepting of me. She has such a forgiving spirit. I also like the “old” feeling of our relationship. We’ve had our ups and downs, but have “forgiven and forgotten” and moved on to form a good relationship. I believe we can tell each other anything and trust each other
with anything. Now that we live in the same town,
I’m looking forward to making many more memories together!
