Thanks, AnnMarie! I have been to Chicago a few times and love it! It's such a vibrant place! I hope to get back there again sometime and really do some exploring.
Have fun scrapbooking and card making! This craft is a bit addicting, but it's a good kind of addicting!!

I'm so glad to see that you made time to get to NavyPier one of the coolest places to see , Sorry that you were welcomed with true Chicago weather . But I'm sure that we lived up to our name and you had a good time in chicago ,and next time we will try to improve the weather for you .

This is one of the layouts I submitted with my design team entry to my local scrapbook store--Lasting Memories. Cardstock: Bazzill Basics, Patterned Paper: Scenic Route (North Shore Fakie Green and Hang Ten Stripe), Chipboard Letters: Heidi Swapp (Center of Attention), Photo Corners and Star Mini Brads: Making Memories, Font – Journaling: CK Inky, Acrylic Paint: Making Memories
Journaling reads: While in Chicago for CHA-Summer, Heather, Tricia and I took a break from working to have a little fun. We took the Metra rail to downtown (an amusing trip all by itself), and then hopped on a trolley heading to the pier. We spent a couple hours wandering the boardwalk, taking in the sights and window shopping. With a cold front blowing in, the weather wasn’t all that ‘summery’. In fact, it was downright windy and cold.. . .But we refused to let the chilly weather spoil one moment of our adventure!
