Your Trip to downtown chicago on the[quote] "L" [/quote]as we call it here I'm sure was a trip in it self. I'm so glad to see that you made time to get to NavyPier one of the coolest places to see , Sorry that you were welcomed with true Chicago weather . But I'm sure that we lived up to our name and you had a good time in chicago ,and next time we will try to improve the weather for you . I really enjoy alot of your layouts , Your work is Clean ,and easy to follow.I myself just started scraping,but I do make alot of cardsand other paper crafts.Right now my scanner is not working to post my work.So some day soon! : ) AnnMarie

Navy Pier

This is one of the layouts I submitted with my design team entry to my local scrapbook store--Lasting Memories. While in Chicago for CHA-Summer, Heather, Tricia and I took a break from working to have a little fun. We took the Metra rail to downtown (an amusing trip all by itself), and then hopped on a trolley heading to the pier. We spent a couple hours wandering the boardwalk, taking in the sights and window shopping. With a cold front blowing in, the weather wasn’t all that ‘summery’. In fact, it was downright windy and cold.. . .But we refused to let the chilly weather spoil one moment of our adventure!
