Another 12x12 lo for Mia Karine's Early Years album. I'm starting to like this size...once I mentally got over the loss of my extra 3"x12" space in my usual 12x15 work. Oh well.
This lo was inspired by my wonderful friend, Pam (pammy). The title she had created for a lo she did of one of my girls a while back really got me to thinking and was the inspiration for the poem I wrote in here, as well as simply doing a layout for each of my girls' scrapbooks with this poem. Though nothing else is similar (in design or style), her work once again inspired me. Thanks, Pam!
LAYOUT/TECHNIQUE NOTES:
- Frame corners are mounted on Fun Foam for dimension.
- Center of large flower is a shaped clip with a sheer bow tied in the middle.
- Not sure how well you can see it but at the top left, there is tulle tied through the white eyelet hearts.
- All journaling was printed on transparency...sorry about the weird reflection in the bottom line.
- Circle was mounted on Fun Foam for dimension (my favorite material these days, can't get enough of it!). The "mk" are letter stickers mounted onto a tiny piece of transparency so that it "floated" with the circle.
- Photo was mounted on cardstock then on chipboard that was covered with white Magic Mesh.
- A strip of tulle is tied around the bottom of the photo.
JOURNALING:
