A catch up for childhood challenge 41 - Maladies and Remedies. Journalling reads: Pa's Nan always believed in home remedies. To cure a wart she would walk to the garden and look for a milkweed thistle. She taught us that breaking the stem of the plant would give us a milky substance which she would put over the wart. We had to repeat this process until the wart disappeared. I don't remember this working particularly well, but I loved breaking open those weeds to play with the milky insides. <br><br>PP is BG, Collections chipboard letters.
