For childhood challenge #1. Journalling reads: Summer in my childhood always meant new bathers, running through the sprinkler, playing in the pool, creating slip and slides down the slope in the back yard, eating Chicken Chickadees after swimming while lying on a beach towel on the warm concrete paths at the front of the house, being in or around water from the time we got up until Mum called us in at night, and sometimes being allowed back out into the pool after tea.
