Journalling reads: The Cave of the Winds tour takes you to the base of the falls, riding an elevator through the rock. There is an observation deck that is the last stopping place on the tour, but which can also be accessed at the start where we were able to leave Lynne. This tour is only open for a few months each year, with workers tearing down the walkways before the ice develops, and rebuilding it when the weather warms up. The falls rush past at lightning speeds, and the higher up you go, the more deafening becomes the roar of water. These unattractive yellow ponchos and special non slip sandals are definitely a must, as there is no chance of staying dry otherwise. The rails are slippery with algae, and the wind is fierce on this level about half way up the falls. The last viewing deck is the Hurricane Deck, and it amuses me every time I see the “No Smoking” sign, as I cannot imagine how you would go about lighting a cigarette when the spray of water was so strong I could barely look up.

Bazzill cardstock, HS rub ons (including the pattern under the title which is two exclamation marks and a couple of extra dots), misc page pebble alpha stickers, Collections chipboard flourish.
