Grandma's undies drawers

Journalling reads: I have never really known what the true purpose of this cupboard is. For as long as I can remember it sat in the back bedroom of Nan and Pa’s house, with an old adding machine and other loose items resting on it. In its drawers some old underwear and nightgowns belonging to Nan’s mother were stored. Hence it is affectionately known as (great) Grandma’s undies drawers.We originally put this out to sell at the garage sale we had when Nan moved into full time care. As fate would have it, it never sold and I decided to bring it home. It is a decision I have never regretted. Now, instead of grandma’s underwear, I keep my napery in its drawers. There are heavy starched formal tablecloths, and whimsical embroidered afternoon tea tablecloths. I have a collection of hand stitched doilies and tablecloths made of lace and fine crochet. No matter what is stored inside it will always be known as grandma’s undies drawers.<br><br>Papers are Cosmo Cricket and MME (Signature Series I think). Old office filing tabs, misc flowers, MM diamante brads, and a very old Bo Bunny Press sticker. TFL!
