I'm not really sure what my scanner is up to, but the striped flower is actually not striped at all. AC pp, MM sticker, HS photo corners, Lil Davis bottlecap, misc flower diamantes.Journalling reads: I remember so little about when this photo was taken. Wayne and I are sitting on the front verandah at Nan and Pa’s. The lounge room here has not yet been extended, the brick veneer has not been applied, and they have not yet bought the blue swing. It doesn’t matter though, because I always loved the rainbow colours of the timber bench I can see behind us. I do not recall it ever being repainted in all the years it sat on this verandah. Lynne and Lisa tried desperately to stop this bench being sold when we emptied out this house but Mum was adamant it had to go. She later bought a similar bench and had the slats painted in a rainbow of colours. Regret is a funny thing.I know it is sometime in 1979. Mum obviously really liked this outfit as I am wearing it in several photos taken this year. The playgroup t-shirts also show up in a lot of photos in this era – Wayne in his green one and I in a red one. I may not remember much about when this photo was taken, but it sparks a whirlwind of memories, and has always been one of my favourite photos.TFL!
