Another rendition… for this one I stamped the SU Paint Prints 3 times w/o re-inking and fussy cut them & layered to create the flower. To create the red petals layer I stamped the flower again & fussy cut leaving a larger border, then I colored the layer with Copic's Dark Red, cut it in half and glued it to a punched round. This allowed me to spread the petals to create the base flower layer. The leaves were hand cut and glued between the layers which are held together with a brad. The next layer is the Memory Box checkerboard stamp w/ SU Pumpkin Pie. And the final layer is SU patterned paper trimmed to fit the card front. Light green was added to complete the base. And finally I used the pp trimmed away to create the vertical behind the flower. For my taste it's a bit busy, but it is cheerful IRL.
