Journaling: This weekend was our big 5 year anniversary! I decided to surprise daddy with a getaway weekend downtown to San Diego. First I arranged for him to have a half day of work, then I had him drive downtown to the Westin. He had no idea where we were going and was surprised by the destination once we got there. We got all dressed up for dinner at Ruth’s Chris and it was sooooo good! I think we ate every last bite of food. After that we walked along the harbor at Seaport Village and then headed back to the nice air conditioned hotel room. The next morning we lazed around and eventually checked out of the hotel and had lunch at Horton Plaza. We drove back home and got ice-cream and saw a movie. It was such a nice fun weekend and probably the last bit of alone time we’re gonna have before you guys come. 7/21/06
